(1) Structural Feature
The ShiHeng’s box-like folding modular houses are a series of box-like mobile houses developed by the ShiHeng. With the features of the assembling-series houses, a box-like modular house also has the advantages that it consists of roof, floor and the folding gable walls at two sides, which facilitate the transportation and storage and greatly reduce the installing time: each group of standard house (5700 long, 2300 wide) can be installed by 4 people within 3 hours. According to the clients’ demands, multiple combinations (a house or a double-deck house) can be achieved. |
(2) Performance
The improvement of the method of combing the gable walls with the roof for the box-like folding house ensures the firmness of its framework. The indoor walls adopt bright color with soft texture and tidy surface to incline to daylighting in design, thus creating a comfortable space. The layout and position of doors & windows in the house can be changed by customers to tally with their environment and condition; electric wires for electrical appliances have been preassembled in the house. According to different demands, optional installation units or components are provided for cooking, showering, partitioning or others. The main framework of the gable walls as the main house body is made of Q235 C-type purlins with moisture-resistant and antiseptic treatments; furthermore, the folding house possesses the aseismatic, windproof and fireproof capabilities. |
